Working with me
Everything I do with Dolmen is informed by +5 years experience working in NHS Eating Disorder Services.
How I work is compassionate to the fact that everyone has their own relationship with food and exercise.
A key part of this approach is to “measure what matters”.
I’m won’t focus on calories or macros if we don’t need to.
I won’t focus on weight if we don’t need to.
I won’t put you through complicated tests if we don’t need to.
The assessment is the foundation of how I work. That involves a thorough dietary analysis, a conversation about your relationship with food and training, planning for your goals, and agreeing a nutrition strategy to support those goals.
Every one of my clients has different goals and priorities, and that is reflected in the different, personalisation strategies they receive.
Some clients like to pay as they go, especially if working long term. But some like the structure of the bundles described on the right.
Start Strong
If you’re new to endurance sport and wanting to get solid, personalised advice on how to train and perform well, this is the bundle for you. Perfect if you’re taking on your first marathon.
The bundle includes an initial assessment, and 2x follow up appointments.
You also get a personalised nutrition report, advice and education on planning meals, shopping, cooking, portions, and supplements to ensure you can train consistently and effectively.
Total cost = £240
Powering Performance
This is the bundle for the more experienced athletes who already know the basics.
This is a bundle of an initial assessment plus 2x follow ups to develop and refine a strategy for training and racing.
If you want to hit your performance goal using the best and latest in sports nutrition research, this is the bundle for you.
Total cost = £240
REDs Recovery
Most of my clients are here for support with underfuelling and relative energy deficiency in sport (REDs).
Anyone can get REDs, and it can be debilitating for your physical and mental health as well as your performance. REDs recovery is not a quick fix, so this bundle includes an initial assessment and 5x follow ups.
It normally takes 3-6 months to work through and you get personalised education on how your body reacts to underfuelling, supportive goal-setting and problem solving to help you back to feeling fully fuelled and performing at your best.
Total cost = £460
Race Day
If you’re not that bothered about long term nutrition education and advice, but you do want a solid plan for a carb load or race day fuelling, this is the offer for you.
This still includes a sports nutrition assessment but in a 60min call, we can make you an evidence-based, personalised race day fuel plan that you can rely on.
Total cost = £75
